CURRENT ACTIVITIES

We are digitizing our extensive collection of photographs and documents

Before being archived and stored away safely the museum’s collection is being scanned and indexed and will in the future will be an easily accessed data base for those interested in searching through our collection or involved in research.

The museum is currently hosting a group of  students as part of their practical studies.

The group is assisting in photographic  documentation of the museum’s collection  and with the preparation of photos for scanning and storage.

Copies of the Martello Magazine are being captured in useable format

These invaluable snippets of history which were printed and distributed by the museum in previous times is being captured in Word format and will be shared by FRIENDS OF THE MUSEUM

Museum Coffee Shop under new management

We are excited to announce that the museum coffee shop is open again.Martello Coffee Shop and offers a range of light meals , fresh baked goods and good coffee.

Museum Garden gets a facelift

The beds around the front of the museum have been replanted with water wise , livestock resistant plantings by one of the museum’s board of trustees.
